RIO's MainStream Intermediate Line  is a slow sinking fly line with a sink rate of 1.5 inches per second. It is a great value for all fishermen looking to save a little money starting off in the sport. It offers striped bass fishermen a good casting line to learn this wonderful sport.

Note:    Saltwater can be tough on fly lines. Between durability issues with sand and rocks, to tackiness problems with the saltwater, upgrading to a better line is something to consider. If you are more than a raw beginner, we recommend you take a peek at the Rio Clouser Taper for an incredible casting saltwater line.
