Angel Hair is probably one of our top 5 flashes that you MUST own! Yes, this material is that important to most fly tyers. Action is everything, and this has to be the most lively flash in fly tying. The strands are about as thin as you will find, so blending this flash with other materials is a great way to add life to any fly.

We find layering angel hair between other synthetic or natural materials gives you a great balance of flash and body. Angel hair acts like a great little filler between these layers of material.  Many flashes are simply too coarse or thick to properly achieve this effect.

Note:   Many tyers are a little confused on how to work with Angel Hair because of its random lengths and thin denier. The answer is to not worry about it! Simply pinch the proper amount of hair in your finger tips and pull it out of the pack. Quickly tie it in and your done! Don't sweat the details or various material lengths. This material is so thin that it simply doesn't matter.
