If you are tying any epoxy ''candy'' or shrimp flies, this is the thread to use. This clear mono thread comes in two sizes with the standard fine size being the most popular.

Use this thread like you would any standard fly tying thread. The spools fit right into your bobbin. Most tiers try to minimize the amount of wraps on the fly so that the colors of the materials under the mono show through very clearly.

If you are a saltwater tier, than this mono thread is a must.

Note...we don’t recommend that you use this thread for standard fly tying, as other waxed threads like Flat Waxed Nylon offer less bulk and more holding memory and tightness as compared to this mono.
