The Mastery Series Striped Bass Intermediate Line is one of out top selling intermediate fly lines. We are very pleased with the way the line shoots and casts as compared to other clear intermediate saltwater lines. Some clear lines tend to really get "sticky" and require constant cleaning and dressing in warmer temperatures fishing for striped bass. Not the Mastery Striped Bass line!

This line uses AST technology to ensure the slickest line possible! Wet or dry, this line shoots! Also, with this AST design, this line tangles significantly less than many other lines.

Note:   We find the taper to be a good one, but slightly lighter than some. So, if you are considering over-lining your rod, then we recommend you do so with this line. We also find the Surf color be great for casters looking to improve their casting.  Many times it is impossible to see your loops and casts with other clear intermediate lines.
