SA Mastery Floating Shooting Lines are used mainly by steelhead fishermen looking for a good all-around running line for light line and "chuck & duck" style steelhead fishing. This line is one of the more durable running lines and its .031 diameter is preferred by most winter fishermen.

Note:  Many of our top steelhead fishermen have switched over to the RIO shooting line in .024 diameter. They find in the dead of winter, the smaller diameter is more sensitive for those light line steelhead.  We don't however recomend the .024 for the fall run of salmon.
