The SA Mastery GPX (General Presentation Taper) may be the best all-around trout fly line available. This line was specifically designed for today's higher performance rods. The line has a slightly overweighted tip to help load faster rods and turnover longer leaders or strike indicators with tandem nymphs. We feel the line gives up nothing as compared to other trout tapers for dry fly fishing. The bottom line is that this is an awesome everyday trout line. It loads great, has an incredibly slick finish and will serve you for years to come. This is our best selling trout line!

Note:   If you are mainly nymph fishing you may wish to consider the Mastery Nymph taper. We find however that most trout fishing is best suited to the GPX taper and its "do-everything" design and taper.
