The Mastery Saltwater Specialty Taper floating line is a very universal line. We understand that a Bonefish or Tarpon taper line are the best choices for fishing in the tropics, however, many of our customers may not fish in the south but on a rare occasion and spend most of their time fishing at home on the coast. For these anglers, the Mastery Saltwater Taper is the perfect line.

We find the taper to deliver wind resistant flies with precision and authority. The line is not too soft for the south and just soft enough to be used for stripers in the fall or spring. The AST coating is amazing and outperforms any other saltwater floating line we have found.
